Nice one! Are you using a custom wordlist or straight off PSKracker?? And do you have a Monero address or project you would like me to donate to instead? ----nevermind I see the address, sending shortly!
Newer Xfinity gateways (and Comcast Business Class Internet, CBCI) follow a pattern of 5 letter word + 4 numbers + 6 letter word. The lists are included in pskracker. Just use the included script to append digits to either list, then use hashcat's built-in combinator mode (-a 1) with the other dict. Surprised they didn't learn after seeing the disaster that Netgear/Spectrum has been paving the way for! --- Double Post Merged, 14 Dec 2021, Original Post Date: 10 Dec 2021 --- D68733-2.4:CP19292653EZ Now, this was a fun hunt. This is the ISP Mediacom or Atlantic Broadband. This model is likely a Technicolor CGA4234 (almost zero info online, except for 2 real sticker examples and one Technicolor's FCC filing. The new model, CGA4326 has some info omitted... not sure on the legalities of it but anyways, the key format is CPYYWWMMMXXX, where YY is the year of manufacturing and WW is the week of manufacturing. Unsure what MMM or XXX are derived form, but MMM are digits and XXX are upper alphanumeric. All in all, a mask that would crack all of these is -a 3 -1 ?d?u CP?d?d?d?d?d?d?d?1?1?1 You could shorten this by specifying recent years for the first 2 ?d, like 18, 19, 20, 21 as its a recent model.
