i would like to find a good antenna preferably something around the 20dbi so i can pick up longer range i have a real issue where i live with internet we have free wifi at a casino but its a long way off (its all flat land) anybody give me a place to buy or make one for a little $$ ?

Your antenna is only as good as your cable.Some of the chinese yagi ones are ok as long as you replace the cable, just buy some lmr-200 /1700 lmr-200 being the cheapest lmd-1700 the most expensive.

i have an alpha nha what would you suggest ? i need a lot of power its a really good distance from my house good news its legal its a open network and free to use tho (just putting that on record )
The NHA is a weak card to begin with since they are only 650mW. I had one directly connected to a 14dbi panel and I could barely connect to my neighbor. My 8187L is way stronger so if you really need to connect to something far away you my need a different card.
i dont have that issue i pick up 20% with a 7dbi with the thing from about 1 mi away i would guess maybe more but not enough to send or get a true signal so i need a better antenna other wise my alpha works great i pick stuff up many blocks away in town with a good 40% + in the middle of no where i get less but everything is 1mi + away
Anybody already tried this 24dbi grid antenna? please post some result or review..i want to know how the performance.
