Hello all I'm an absolute noob at this would love to learn more about how to use my mac for wpa. I've tried to find information by searching the forum, but didn't find anything pertaining to mac and wificard. I might have used the wrong keywords. so Please if you read this and know more either point me in the right direction or share your information with me. It would be highly appreciated. I read that there's a card that's supported until 10.7 .. Is there one that's surely going to be recognized natively? If managed to get xiaopan to run on virtual box but my computer didn't recognize the wifi card that i was given from a windows user tp-link wn722n also i don't understand the differences between all these different cards ranges and injection. there are some strong signals around in my location, so i guess i'd need a card that good at injecting. the importance of n range completely escapes me.
The tp-link wn722n should work with the compat wireless driver if it's not recognised just unplug it then replug and wait a min then check with Code: Select All iwconfig To test injection Code: Select All aireplay-ng -9 wlan0
Thanks so much for your reply. The wifi card worked on my friends Windows 7 but i didn't find any drivers to use with my mac how or better in which application do i check iwconfig? in Xiaopan could see the wifi card in the dropdown menu but i couldn't use it because it wouldn't install.
