Just out of curiosity, how come ALFA & Samsung/ASUS/LG/Whoever did not combine together to make a WIFI HACKING TABLET? Well look here, you spent 400US$Dollars to buy a iPad or a Samsung Galaxy Tab, why not these idiots include a ALFA chipset inside the stupid tablet, so that users can walk around anywhere hacking wifi passwords easily with only 1 touch.
Well... it might be possible, either through USB or internally. The RTL8188RU has android drivers 1.6~2.3 and 4.0 . A manufacturer could easily build one. However, size and the amount of power it would draw would be great
I guess to meet the public's eye. Most people would probably oppose of this so I doubt this will be done. It could be done, but then Asus, Samsung, LG......would face major public outlash. However, it would definitely be cool tho.
They can install BackTrack on Motorola Xoom but i am not sure that it supports monitor mode and is capable of injecting packets. Either way I am sure not to far in the distant future there will be. I am sure law enforcement and the government has a few

I hope ALFA invented their own Tablet, using their own RTL8187 technology + iPad Mini/Samsung Galaxy Tab technology, and let's say we set the selling price at US$150 each, I am sure this product will sell like crazy...surpassing even the iPad :me:joy In another word, ALFA will overtake SAMSUNG AND iPad !! :eeks (if they created ALFA HACKING TABLET)
there are a couple of mobile devices that have packet injection and monitor mode. one is the nokia n900, i have successfully used aircrack-ng, reaver and even metasploit on mine. and the other i believe is the google g1. but i am sure you can add an alfa to an adroid device via usb hostmode.
