Hi everyone , I discover xiaopan since 1 week and tried to make its works . Ive a WLA-5000 from sitecom, i think i need rt2800 driver for working. I installed xiaopan0.4.3 with parallels desktop in a osx10.7 . (Ive got a mac book pro 13''. ) Infiltrator dont detect my wireless , and every other program ... But i can use mozilla I need to install driver ? Try backtrak ? I feel lost because i'm searching and searching and dont find anything. Any help will be welcome with smile Thx a lot
Hello Xam is the device you are using a RT3070? From memory, the rt3070 uses the rt2800usb driver or is it the duel band version? as seen here: http://www.sitecom.com/wireless-dualband-usb-adapter-300n-x5/p/830 If it is indeed the rt3070, it performs best with Xiaopan versions 0.4.1 and 0.4.2.2.
I recommend Parallels Desktop for virtualisation. People have had issues with VirtualBox. You have to mount the device in the virtual machine. Also, you might have to delete your mac drivers (if they are installed) as it will not unload properly in your host machine. Personally, I have an RT3070 and I have to phyiscally delete everything associated with the card (utility and drivers) to get it to work with Xiaopan. You said that it works via live USB, so clearly there is something wrong with either Parallels or Mac. Yes i found this link too. Thx a lot i will unistall every driver and see if its work on Parallels. Have you go some link to use all the force of xiaopan's tool ?
