Xcell's Setup

    So this is how I roll.

    I have 3 PC's and 2 have Airlive WT2000PCI wih 8dbi Omni directional antenna's From TPlink TL-ANT2408C

    They are for medium/short range activities.
    My main rig has 16 gigs of ram and six core processor for better bruteforcing and other stuff. Main rig has 2 wireless systems. First one is Airlive WL 1700USB

    Second one is my newly accquired ALFA AWUS036NHR

    Also the alfa got a big ass antena

    TL-ANT2415D 15 dBi
    My main rig is dual boot Win7 and Backtrack and other two just have Windows XP on them. I have 3 usb drives Hi-speed 2.0 with Xiaopan 0.4.3 on them wich are used to boot from.

    Nice setup, especially your main one. How does the TL-ANT2415D 15 dBi perform compared to the standard 5dbi from ALFA? I am thinking about getting one.

    It does a good job but make sure your cable is not longer than 4 meters after that Alfa's power gets drained and its range gets reduced but overalll I get the range about 800 meters without problems...

    I am interested in this antenna too (TL-ANT2415D 15 dBi ), but I worry about the shape of this product especially when installed on the rooftop, what if the lightning strike ...

    On rainy days you can simply unplug your antenna and don't worry about it...

    Manually unplug Fantasma? what if the lightning comes at 4am midnight, I wouldn't want to wake up..

    Small update: Main rig now running at 8 Cores (AMD FX 8320) 8 gigs of RAM DDR3 running trio boot win 7 kali and old version of xiaopan(soon to be updated).
