Anyway Update. This issue has been fixed: Feeding Bottle: "Fixed Channel mon0 : -1" error (0.4.3)

Tiny Core really need to update their compat-wireless package, it would really solve many problems. The latest I can find is: compat-wireless-3.1.1-3.0.21-tinycore.tcz, it might be fixed using compat-wireless-2012-04-23-3.0.21-tinycore.tcz.

Also found these in the latest 4.x distro and I am not sure what x1-rt52 means:
wireless-3.0.32-x1-rt52.tcz

This will require you some testing on your part. I doubt that I have the card you are using so I am limited in testing the above out for myself.

 

I have the same device and so does a few other Beta testers. If you read a bit into this thread it is throwing up some errors. Rest assured, we are working on it

Ok, I sent a message to SneekyLinux on Youtube and this is what he said to fix the sound issue

For sound to work corectly, you need to:
• Install oss first
• Then run it
• Then install flash

if it still does not work, right click the desktop, oss will be there (or alsa even) and click on.

 

Sound issue is fixed by Fantasma, the new 0.4.3 soon to be released

 

It appears that this issue could effect a large range of cards. It is my understanding this happens when there are multiple drivers assigned to the same wireless device. In Ubuntu it is possible to blacklist an old and/or conflicting driver.

Possible Workaround

airmon-ng start wlan0 1

This should start airmon on the same channel as the AP you are trying to attack, channel 1 in this instance. Use wlan0 in aireplay-ng not mon0. This is not a fix, but a potential workaround.
