To fully maximise your Xiaopan OS experience, the card you have or the one you will get needs to be compatible with:

    a) aircrack-ng
    b) Xiaopan OS
    c) Reaver
    d) compat-wireless

Therefore, it is a good idea to get an all rounder card and drivers that can do everything. You need to check out the following as well as clicking the links within them to get more detailed information

    Resources
    Reaver Compatible Cards
    Aircrack-ng Compatible Cards
No Wireless Card Found Possible Solutions

    USB v Internal Cards
USB wireless cards work best, internal cards will not work with Xiaopan OS or Beini in a virtual machine environment (Mac + Windows). However, some will work if you create a Live USB or CD and boot into the operating system directly (Windows Only).

Virtualization solutions (VMware/VirtualBox/Virtual PC/…) only work with USB cards. Card that are PCI / MiniPCI / PCMCIA / CardBus / Express Card / PCI Express / PCI-X / MiniPCI Express won't work at all.

    Try Different Versions
Make sure you try different versions as some users have found that a lower version has worked for them where the newer version has failed. You can also use Beini.

If that does not work and you are still having trouble with your wireless card being found or one of the Xiaopan apps not working for you we have created a survey that will give us information that we can use to figure out what is going on Please Fill Out This Form. It will then be published in the support forum.

    Alternatives
In the end if you still can't be successful there are some good alternatives:

    BackTrack
    BackTrack DishingTech Edition
    Beini
    BackBox
    Slitaz
    Aircrack-ng VMware Image
