hey im using virtual box to run the OS and to be clear all of the apps are reporting the same proplem. i tried the following but none of them succed: 1)iwconfig in terminal shows no wireless extensions 2)i used modprobe -l grep ath to try to load the driver to the xiaopan i get the dir which was "kernel.tclocal/drivers/net/wireless/ath/ath.ko" after that in terminal i command "modprobe ath9k_common /kernel.tclocal/drivers/net/wireless/ath/ath.ko" and i also "modprobe ath9k_common /kernel.tclocal/drivers/net/wireless/ath/ath9k_common.ko", and i got this "modprobe: cant load module cfg80211(kernel.tclocal/drivers/net/wireless/cfg80211.ko): opreation not permitted" 3) i also got the same proplem when i modprobe -l grep ath9k_common and then modprobethe path. finally im not intending to run xiaopan from a live usb or cd, i just want to fix this proplem, any help after all is appreciated.
Dude, Internal cards does not work in any VM environment. you need (must) run it as Live CD/USB to make your internal card work
