I have a TrendNet N150 usb wifi adaptor, also referenced as TEW-648UB adapter, powered by a REALTEK rtl8192SU chipset, and willing to test Xiao 0.4.4, before its official release to the small people.

What i can tell you is: RTLXXXXSU chipset versions will not work, since it does not support monitor mode.
only RTLXXXXC & RTLXXXXR are supported

hey Mr.Penguin I foundet useful to add bib.tcz utility on Xiaopan desctop for realtime monitoring the wifi networks! Moving around with your laptop or antena you can track bether signal then after that you go to cracking! i love to see thiese small utility on new Xiaopan OS would be beneficial for everyone to have on the desc!! Please Mr.Penguine care to have this utility on :yes !! Cheers!!

 

hi hazz deauth, i think the best idea is to make tiny core linux installable on the pc if possible.if not you can use slitaz but you should include in it the automatic cracking process of xiaopan(we don't want to type terminals)just by clicking

xiaopan 0.4.6 should be a little similar to backtrack.
1-we have to make it installable on windows
2-it should have wget option
3-it should have the already xiaopan automated prossess in cracking networks
4-it should only be for networking

 

i vote for staying minimal
either as is, based on tiny core
or slitaz

lean and mean is where it's at kids

 

1-WHY ? I dont own or wish to own a windows machine, if you want windows use windows,If you want to install from tiny core it's simple.
2-Tiny core has wget.
3-You'll never learn anything by clicking the next or crack button.
4-Build it yourself. my version is totally different to fantasma's build, I just use network tools kismet nmap tshark ect.

 

maybe adding a good wordlist creator & macchanger
