I would recommend using the Wireless configuration tool, to connect to a WiFi Access Point. You can access the tool at Application>System Tools>Wifi configuration. If however, you are incapable of connecting to an AP via that method you can use "wpa_supplicant". ~Aby$m

Where [WPA-PSK] is, enter the Access Point password. Step 2: Use this command "wpa_supplicant -Dwext -iwlan0 -c /root/wpa.conf" to begin associating with the AP specified in "Step 1a:" Step 3: Request an IP Address from DHCP server.
