This is just another script using the Pixiewps attack. Look carefully around 3:56 and you will see that there are only two Netgear models vulnerable, JNR 3210 and PR 2000.
No problem. --- Double Post Merged, 7 Sep 2015, Original Post Date: 7 Sep 2015 --- Netgear59 cap password is largespider653
love this! i was just sitting down to actually make one of these myself, then stumbled across yours. brilliant! i just tested on my netgear router with pass "fluffyunicorn412" and aircrack nailed it in a couple minutes. just curious why you decided to go for one file with all combinations instead of, say, grep the crunch of an adjective file + noun file + 3 numbers...? not saying should or shouldn't, just genuinely curious if there's an advantage to using this one large file? cheers, and thanks for the great work. **EDIT** just saw the post from gearjunkie. please disregard my ignorance.
I only have 1 new adjective to add since v1.04. Let me test out a couple more recent ones to see if a new adjective or noun will show up before updating the list. --- Double Post Merged, 27 Oct 2015, Original Post Date: 27 Oct 2015 --- The SSID for this capture is just netgear. The wordlist is only good where the default SSID is NETGEARxx where xx are two digits.
thanks for all gearjunkie. Great wordlist! The last update is very consistent. I hope that u release other versions. thanks
gearjunkie updated NETGEARXX Wordlist by Gearjunkie with a new update entry: NETGEARxx Wordlist v1.05 Read the rest of this update entry...
Ill have to test it out soon, i created a little program to take adj's, nouns and add 3 numbers to the ends. from 300mb+ files to < 50kb program. pipe to aircrack = WIN Thanks @gearjunkie
You do know that there is already a file with the adjectives + nouns + 3 digits all combined and ready to use in the archive.
Yeah, but there is no downside in speed by combining programmatically, but the major upside of being 7000 times smaller size on disk. Quick & easy to add or expand to the lists . For me and i suspect others too, size can be a issue. Not so much at 300mb range but it all adds up!. You can't reduce a random wordlist so much but you can reduce combo wordlists, so i reduce where i can.
Dear gearjunkie (& other contributors), thank you for all of the hard work putting this list together & maintaining it. A couple of questions: 1. I take it the new words you've discovered are added to the start of the list in v1.05? It would make sense in order to reduce time when retesting captures that were unsuccessful with previous versions of your wordlist. 2. How many extra adjective_noun_3d entries have been added since the previous list (v1.04)? I don't currently have a GPU so limited to using Aircrack-ng - it would be useful to know when to stop running a test with v1.05 that was already unsuccessful with v1.04. Thanks again guys, mez
I added 272k entries to adjective_noun_3d.txt between v1.04 and v1.05. If you still have v1.04, just do a comparison with v1.05 and use the difference. You can use ULM's cross reference tool to do this.
