Thanks so much for the great job . --- Double Post Merged, 10 May 2020, Original Post Date: 9 May 2020 --- Could i get a copy of the new noun + noun word list.
I got 2 more askeys, choruslight715, oceanwalnut971. Here's my list of known askeys so far... windy union shelf stable runner pledge floor acre house object jeans point statue oxygen wealth guitar agency space formal bridge friend wall menu farmer kite bench stable island jeans zebra quick oasis bench idea mode paper pocket noble energy absent domain safety runner stable museum anchor palm month key leader jewel harbor cable quaint stealth bakery tha light gallon remote west quote ladder verse salute violin emigrant period useful botany album prose hotel finish few middle height urban town spirit tablet jazz engine reason market reject scout input wine two praise zeal duty mirror yard honor fish walnut global immune patron summit grain precise affair swing both ocean chorus Let's keep this going! I'm also adding "smiley" to that netgear adjective list. Thanks for that crack!
**So if I am understanding correctly, the netgearXX have a password pattern of ( lower case word & two digits OR 8 characters word lowercase) while charter-spectrum boxes ( netgear mostly from my observation ) are adj + noun + 3 digits? Ive obtained several PMKIDs that Ive not been able to break - hardware related to nether - while Ive had some success with the other charter-netgear h/w with rockyou and nether killer with ?d?d?d at right side.. am I missing something> does that even make sense ( possibly user created wifi pass? ) - thank you in advance, I can upload files if necessary
Almost. Netgear has the format of lowercase adj+noun+3 digits. Spectrum routers made by sagemcom have the same format (lowercase adj+noun+3 digits). Spectrum routers made by Askey have a lowercase noun+noun+3 digit format. So a netgear password looks like funnydoor123. Sagemcom spectrum routers are the exact same thing. But Askey routers passwords look like rejectpride123 or walnutgallon123. --- Double Post Merged, 12 May 2020, Original Post Date: 12 May 2020 --- Rockyou.txt is a weak list for these types of passwords. To break them, first know what you're looking at. If it's a netgear, use the adj+noun lists. If it's a spectrum router, put it's mac address into a lookup site to see the manufacturer. Sagemcom->adj+noun list, Askey noun+noun list. I use hashcat to do the 3 digits to save time and hard drive space (because 3 digits make your list 1000x bigger) --- Double Post Merged, 12 May 2020 --- Yeah, upload the handshakes if any of them give you trouble and also post your findings if you crack anything! --- Double Post Merged, 12 May 2020 --- I also just remembered to recommend a really great piece of software for making these adj+noun or noun+noun lists. It's called ULM. Here's the download link, it's free>>>>https://unifiedlm.com/Download Let's say you wanna combine 2 lists, adjs on the left, nouns on the right. You just open ULM click "tools" then "join" then "join lists HORIZONTAL" There you set your left list, your right list and run it. I also use the char lim function to limit netgear/spectrum passwords to 7-14 chars combined. (That's based on seeing hundreds of these passwords and all of them falling within that char range)
Don't know if it helps any, but I have these: de70d2bb95ee1078c0edb35c703f6e1d:10da43aa8a86:b0481a5905d7:MySpectrumWiFi87-2G:stronggiant335 16c1ba4033dfa9c1077f64a2e00419a6:10da43aa8a86:c41cff5e13b9:MySpectrumWiFi87-2G:stronggiant335 4df434201f2e3404786ab76b07ec3fb3:ac3b772d917e:d8313484b905:MySpectrumWiFi78-2G:yellowtruck110 774cfa5957d9d47e3a247518331c8da2:ac3b772d917e:d8313484b905:MySpectrumWiFi78-2G:yellowtruck110 f414381d37a4fc52bf9c2d50496226df:ac3b772d917e:d8313484b905:MySpectrumWiFi78-2G:yellowtruck110 55527ce756b34eeb422002215f631163:ac3b772d917e:acae1907924d:MySpectrumWiFi78-2G:yellowtruck110 d95e07a26a1bd5260ea7d4317e764568:ac3b772d917e:acae1907924d:MySpectrumWiFi78-2G:yellowtruck110 138415d5e171294d562c9a9cae29bde9:ac3b772d917e:acae1907924d:MySpectrumWiFi78-2G:yellowtruck110 68eba2c3261c751e7ee5e000228ecb8b:346b464094f2:68a47d00d18e:MySpectrumWiFiec-2G:famousbook709 9e8a5676e8b15700d7e0578c3931f85b:346b464094f2:68a47d00d18e:MySpectrumWiFiec-2G:famousbook709 194736b12fc4782a7a6d713b8deac733:346b464094f2:68a47d00d18e:MySpectrumWiFiec-2G:famousbook709 f6eb08200c2cf83289abb174c147c44b:346b464094f2:68a47d00d18e:MySpectrumWiFiec-2G:famousbook709 ce302aa1b9d9e866dcb99b918b50a532:3c171084ddc6:38f73ddfbbea:MySpectrumWiFic0-2G:famouswater391 --- Double Post Merged, 13 May 2020, Original Post Date: 13 May 2020 --- And some netgears I haven't been able to pop. https://mega.nz/file/TOAV2Iab#wW-Scl74fVOvlLA-TNP77QHv_jE_Eiyc14qldZKraKg

Thanks for the handshake! This one is an Arris, which I've only seen two examples of. They are quickagency012 briefyear719 It looks like it follows the adjnounXXX formula like Netgear ones, but has it's own dictionary
Sort of. It's formatted like netgear but the nouns look more like the kind Askeys use. It's like a hybrid. I'd put it's words into the netgear list for ease of use, I guess?
Same. Yeah, my askey list is probably not close to complete yet, I find new words almost every day for it. I'm attacking it now with a big adj+noun list that includes all the askey+netgear words plus others I found online. I actually combined the capture with the netgears we from above since they also weren't cracked and are adjnounXXX format
pasngr57 cracked this one: 8e23b22ce2dc42b0180f331fe609d47c:eca9405a2b3d:7cd95c404040:MySpectrumWiFi3C-2G:nearbystudy963 nearby study Added to my lists.
That's great! Thank you and thanks to pasngr57! Yeah, Arris ones look like they're formatted like netgears but use words like Askeys lol --- Double Post Merged, 16 May 2020, Original Post Date: 15 May 2020 --- Found another Askey password...... lensape910 Let's add lens and ape to the mix --- Double Post Merged, 19 May 2020 --- I found another Askey online... kitesoccer251 --- Double Post Merged, 20 May 2020 --- also found nestuseful712
