What are you doing with so many many Wifi keys? If you're selling them..please do share the bounty/tips with us..!!!
I have never sold any Wifi keys. This is just a hobby for me. If I have offended anyone in any way I am very sorry as I did not know that there were limits on uploads.
Usually this community encourages you to do the majority of the leg work yourself first and if you're unsuccessful, then upload here for eval. If you upload too many in a short period of time, then it is assumed that your making a business out of it and it's only fair to contribute to the cause in that regard. I'm sure alot of the time and computing power required doesn't come cheap for those folks and after all they're doing us all a favor here. I am a newcomer and have slowly gathered the knowledge and tools needed to attempt this myself. Takes me a while but I usually get results. I tend to lend a helping hand around here when I can but I definitely don't have the time, the hardware nor the resources to crunch this all day, everyday. Wish I did though as it is a fun hobby at that.
How are you guys cracking these? I'm trying to use hashcat and the netgearkiller dict,but I'm guessing my hardware sucks. Would a 2019ish 8gen i7 with 32ram and a 1060gpu handle it? I mean reasonably handle it. Or am I way off? It's still using cpu, not gpu, so before I fight with drivers vs kali, I'm looking for advice. Anyone got some?
It should do since I'm using similar hardware myself. I use windows to run the hash but kali should work as well. Make sure you're utilizing your gpu with Cuda to make sure your using its full potential. Cpu alone is insufficient.
To run NetgearKiller.dict you really need good GPUs... For me is about 2 hour and some..with 1060 - about 14 hours.. Yea, that's a big dict to run. I'd run one of the smaller ones 1st. If you look back several pages there is a link to a decent one.
I got impatient and figured i'd try my luck on there. Seems they cracked it! I i'll figure out how to buy some bitcoin and pay for the pass later next week. Thanks for looking/trying btw!
I've run against netgear.dic as well as netgear spectrum list both with ?d?d?d and ?d but still no luck. I was wondering if the default password has been changed or password is not included in the dict
