go with Alfa AWUS036NHA. it is the best in the market at present. In terms of signal strength, picking weak & maximum number of APs & also best VFM.
7dbi would be ideal if the AP is in your neighborhood. Otherwise you can go for larger setup like 14dbi if you are really worried about the signal...
