Not necessary to change name and read the last instruction/tips from the resource page;)

if you do not change name, yumi does not see xiaopan.iso file? You can not choose Xiaopen.ido

name of my file: XIAOPAN 0.4.7.2.iso

[BCOLOR=#ffffff]Does not seem to XIAOPAN still?[/BCOLOR] you can try new version. please

It does show all the iso once you start typing in the browser bar but after everything have been installed, xiaopan won't boot due to some bug in this beta version. I think there is something wrong with its boot menu. I won't be wasting my time to figure out if I'm you. You can either put up a bug report to YUMI official website and wait or you could use the older version YUMI-0.0.9.3 - Download - 4shared - estima camry

    @ estimacamry
Every thing is ok i.e. I installed Xiaopan in my USB using YUMI but when I boot from USB, I don't get GUI for Xiaopan. I get GUI till the Xiaopan select option with CD/USB or Virtualizaton or Boot from HDD or Reboot but beyond the it loads few things but not complete (It doesn't load all the files) so it starts in CLI and not GUI. It works with lili though, but lili will not create multiboot!!!

    any ideas??

    thanks in advance

    Hi..
I think i found a solution, it is because the OS filesystem stored in the folder name that contains spaces.

First, rename the Xiaopan folder created by YUMI in the /multiboot folder, replace any space with (-) or (.). I use the pro version, then, for example i rename it to XIAOPAN-OS-PRO.
Second, open these files with notepad and make correction to every path that contains Xiaopan folder created by YUMI:
    1. /multiboot/menu/linux.cfg (automatically created by YUMI)
    2. /multiboot/XIAOPAN-OS-PRO/isolinux/isolinux.cfg

Additionally, you may modify the first line of isolinux.cfg (file number 2) to this:
    default /multiboot/XIAOPAN-OS-PRO/isolinux/vesamenu.c32

    Cheers!

The problem is solved. It seems that 2 USB sticks (Kingston DT100G2 and SPSCL XL) was something wrong, because when I made a bootable USB stick with a third stick, it started easily. However, I do not understand why this stick does not work.

Here are some pretty simple steps, take caution though, one small misstep could send to "no-reboot land":
Run Comand Prompt as Admin and use the following commands:
    DISKPART
LIST DISK - find the disk number of the usb drive
SELECT DISK # - # being your usb drive ( WARNING MAKE SURE YOU ARE SELECTING THE CORRECT DRIVE OTHERWISE THIS COULD BE DISASTROUS )
    CLEAN
ACTIVE - Make the drive active
FORMAT FS=FAT32 - fat16/32 are the best option for syslinux
    ASSIGN
    EXIT
This should get you ready to go unless the USB drive is truly the culprit. This just fixed the exact SAME problem I was having with YUMI.
    Hope this helps.
