Here you go my friend..passphrase is helpfuldiamond413 cheers carnivore1 --- Double Post Merged, 22 Sep 2018, Original Post Date: 22 Sep 2018 --- Hey longshanks, my new restored Msi gtx 1070 only had 2 year warranty, and it was almost up..No matter though, got it up and running by replacing two capacitors whose tops had popped, and one resistor that had no continuity. If I would had used warranty, shipping back to Msi would have cost much more than replacement parts ( amazing how dirt cheap electrical parts were). Would say works perfectly, but one issue that is still unresolved is shutdown at 70C. So I must run rig with side cases off and basic small house fan blowing on GPU to keep it under mentioned heat limit..Also lucky here on coast temps are getting cooler, because last GPU just sold was difficult to keep under 75C..besides that all good......have not run optimized for extended time yet , but think I am rocking again, as seen in above hash that was cracked in 49 seconds. ....starting speeds on hashcat at approx. 240.5 KH/S..Sad that everything is so throw away, no where could I have taken GPU for repair that would have been cheaper than buying new one. cheers carnivore1
Thank you kind sir. With regard to the latest NETGEARXX dictionary files now on Git Hub - what is the best method to combine the 'adjective.txt' with the 'noun.txt' & then add the '3-digit numbers', in your opinion? I'm stuck on an older laptop for the moment so using aircrack-ng for most wpa(2) captures... Would you recommend hashcat (no dedicated GPUs graphics, so cannot use ocl version obviously)... Thanks for your time guys. Really appreciate it as mine is maxed out on unrelated stuff right now & it is most frustrating... Kind regards, mez.
Hey carnivore1, try nvidia-smi -pl 60 it will maximize power to 60 watts. --- Double Post Merged, 23 Sep 2018, Original Post Date: 23 Sep 2018 --- mezcalsonque - in hashcat the command line is hashcat -a 6 -m 2500 -w 3 hccapx.file, netgear_adjective_noun.txt ?d?d?d i don't know the commandline for aircrack-ng, don't use it.
I have a new noun that I have discovered on a Netgear Router. The Router is a Netgear WNR2000v5 model. On the label underneath: SSID: NETGEAR23 PWD: festiveowl637 Database V1.08 lists "festive" but not "owl". Kindest Regards, Garry
Thx before for the NETGEAR crack BUT I think the password was changed GOOD news is that I REcaptured the AP (also another AP) below...

Found another Netgear sticker on the net and ran the pwd against the V1.08 database. It is: exoticpiano305. exotic is in database - piano is not. Garry
Anyone willing to crack this one for me? My current setup won't run hashcat and can't get my desktop PC with video card to boot up anymore! Would be much appreciated.....
Hey so here is a new one i can't crack. It is in the PMKID format anyone willing to give it a go. It takes my laptop over 12 hours a run. This is the same as above i just figured it would be easier this way. --- Double Post Merged, 14 Nov 2018 --- hey guys i got it... i used netgear killer and mask with my desktop running hashcat under windows. c17961b14a6d90d75caa8c366b02052a*e8ada6344b1e*28c68e604e82*4d79537065637472756d5769466931382d3247:shortlemon509

Does this mean captures of TP-LINK routers can be posted here for help? The search space seems small for the 4-digit model. Unfortunately I don't have a setup that can brute force at the moment.
Where can I download the updated wordlist for netgear that has the 3 numbers after it? <adjective><noun><3digits> The current wordlists in the 1.08 version don't have the 3 numbers.
If anyone is able to help out here it would be greatly appreciated. I attempted this handshake with NetgearKiller.dict on hashcat. It ended "exhausted". After it's been said it has a 95% rate, I find it unreasonable to believe this router is the 5% --- Double Post Merged, 15 Nov 2018, Original Post Date: 15 Nov 2018 --- --- Double Post Merged, 15 Nov 2018, Original Post Date: 15 Nov 2018 --- In hashcat, the command ?d?d?d make up 0-9, 0-9, 0-9 and automatically adds it to the right side (end) of the string.
