Hi All, Can anyone guide as to how i can access and alter the readings inside the digital meter. I have the usb cable to connect the digital meter to the computer but have no idea which software to use or what to do. Please guide.
Everyone has a usb cable and a computer. If all you needed was some software that was readily available lots of people would be doing this. Of course you risk paying tens of thousands of dollars in fines and a criminal record.

The capacity in the future as technology advances. It will be 50x fold especially with the implimentation of batteries to store the power overnight. You will not need to pay for electricity. Please do not think about doing that. Smart digital meters are designed very carefully and do not have the ease of cutting. You can also go to jail for such an attempt. Hacking a digital electric meter is not that hard. All you you have to do is bypass the meter reading. And all the electricity you use becomes free of cost. How is the above thing for a starting idea?
