I am planning to use my internal wireless network card which is an Atheros AR5007EG but it seems that inflator and minidwep cannot detect / found my wireless network card. What should i do?? BTW I am using Xiaopan OS in VirtualBox, thanks.
Yes I agree, best way is to boot from USB with an internal card. But remember, you are using not the best equipment. I kinda liken having in internal wifi card to hack wifi is like it to trying to cut a tree with a butter knife, rather than a USB chainsaw.
does backtrack dishingtech edition support my wireless card, if it does can u tell me how to use reaver...................using inflator or command?
BackTrack DishingTech edition supports a lot of cards, if it does not you can always download the drivers. You can use inflator as a template by clicking on certain options if you want to run Reaver at command line. It is all about trial and error. Also consider Slitaz iso, it does not have Reaver but it works with aircrack-ng. Bear in mind that I am not even sure your card is compatible with Reaver. I would have to say the best card for Reaver is the rtl8187L, why? because Tactical Network Solutions (the people that developed Reaver) have the Reaver Pro kit that includes the same card, an ALFA AWUS036H, rebadged of course. Why would they select one that is inferior?

try using xiaopan 0.4.3 and can u tell me, what is your main objective that u want tp achieve, wep or wps (wpa)
of u want to crack wpa, make sure the prefer wpa network has wps on....after that try use xiaopan o.4.3 and xiaopan 0.4.2.2/xiaopan 0.4.1 make sure plug the card after the os has successfully rebooted
research is done well at the xiaopan dictionary but can not find my wpa key, I think faudrai other dictionary but which for 9 box and livebox? thank you
