maybe you need to install latest compat-wireless
Install Compat-Wireless

 

Need to be more specific since you are not giving us any information about your system like:
What card are you using? internal, usb...
Do you know your card chipset? Atheros,Ralink,Realtek...
how are you using Reaver pro? Live usb, Virtualization...

Mr. Penguin, I think we need to make a tutorial on how to mount usb and installing driver using synaptic pacgake, You already make a tutorial about compat-wireless, how about synaptic manager?
