Also read this thread. It contains helpful information. People who ask these types of questions will be ignored by me because I don't like helping lazy people. You will know it when I give you the blind post rating.

Ralink RT2860 (Asus WL-130N PCI) - is fully working with Xiaopan 0.4.4.
Atheros AR9271 (TP-LINK TL-WN722N USB) - as it is mentioned here is working too.

What method you have used to set 33dBm TX Power? I have found few variations using iwconfig with BO region, and driver modification method. So while I'm waiting for my ordered AWUS036NHR, I would like to make a memo, which method is 100% working with Xiaopan 0.4.4.

If you have more than one iso in your USB it may or may not boot. I reccomend you format your USB as fat 32 (not quick) and use LiLi USB creator, In Resources thread there is a tuto for it ;)

What a pity! My MultiBootUsb has:

    title live BackTrack 5
    root (hd0,0)
    kernel /casper/vmlinuz file=/preseed/custom.seed boot=casper
    initrd /casper/initrd.gz

    title live wifiway-3.4
    map /IMAGE/wifiway-3.4.ISO (0xFF) || map --mem /IMAGE/wifiway-3.4.ISO (0xFF)
    map --hook
    chainloader (0xFF)
    and much more...

If your using YUMMI to multi boot try renaming your iso to tinycore-current and select tiny core as the distro you are adding to your pen drive.

Sorry couldn't edit my post for some reason, but if you use yumi and changed your iso to tinycore-current you will need to edit multiboot/menu/tinycore.cfg after you installed it to
    Code:
    Select All
    append initrd=/multiboot/tinycore/boot/core.gz loglevel=3 cde
to stop the sda write through error, and copy your mydata.tgz and mydatabk.tgz to the root of your pen drive.

Hmm - I downloaded the iso zip file via the torrent and the md5s for the zip file and iso are OK, but the disk won't boot!

I get the "isolinux: Found something at drive" etc loop at boot. I use my usual CD disks and burner that I've created loads of bootable disks with, at the slowest speed my drive will do (4x). Gave up after 3 identical problem disks.

    Any ideas anyone, please?

Incidentally, I can't see any dates on posts, so I can't see how old they are.

What, you mean the first post in this thread - the one that states:

"The above links has had reports that it only works live and not in a virtual machine environment"

I saw that, but I'm using the iso live, not in a VM.

    Thanks for the reply.

And... it says " The link below however has been confirmed to work no matter how you use it. I.e: with VM software and those who run it live through USB and CD. " too :D

I saw that link, but it takes me to a list of hosting sites, none of which I recognise and which also invite me to update my flash player (and possibly install a trojan at the same time!). I think I'll reluctantly give Xiaopan a miss!

    Thanks for the reply.
